There is no doubt that Cub Scouts provides family fun and unique experiences to our scouts. Our Pack is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who strive to keep individual costs low. We do this through fundraising efforts and a DIY mentality. Even with our efforts, there are some costs associated with becoming a Cub Scout. Remember that these costs cover a full year of scouting, not just a few months. Here is how those break down:
- National Dues: $75*
- Council Dues: $30
- Awards Budget: $40
- Pack Overhead: $60
*There is a one time $25 joining fee to National for first time scouts.
Additionally, we have Pack Events throughout the year that our Scouts always look forward to. Here are how a few of them break down:
- Raingutter Regatta (10/29)
- $15 for boat kit and event
- $8 for additional boat kit
- Pinewood Derby (3/12)
- $15 for car kit and event
- $8 for additional car kit
- Blue and Gold Banquet ()
- $10 / Person
